Audra Philippy
works on custom boards using Venetian plaster and pigment. She is
drawn to the simple beauty of color, shapes and textures that surround her
every day. Fascinated by mixing the natural world with the industrial
world, she finds these two realms are often in conflict, yet play off each
other, especially when combining them in her paintings.
Erin Kay
is an up and coming artist who takes her creativity in many thoughtful
directions. Her talents include sculpture, art installations,
oil painting, encaustic painting and photography. Kay’s current work
is based on dreams as she is trying to experience and express the reality of
dreams while awake, mixing her mood with the paint to create the story.
Kentree Speirs paints from an instinctive response to the natural world. The feelings he experiences in wilderness settings act as a compass; as they are dynamic and real. He strives for this aliveness in his art, appreciating the sweeping gestural paint strokes, thickly applied, as much as the thin translucent layering. Organic shapes predominate in a delicate balance of serendipity and intention creating a provocative assemblage of color and form.
